Step 1. Install itunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes/overview/. I hope the arrow marks in the pictures below can guide you.

Itunes -> podcasts -> browse podcasts in the iTunes store.

Step 2: Select Audio Podcasts and choose the Podcasts which appeal to you.

Step 3: Hit subscribe. When the podcasts gets downloaded, copy them to a local folder.

Step 4: Hook up your favorite MP3 player to your laptop and download these podcasts. If you are facing difficulty syncing your podcasts with your device, then you can use software such as “synctoy” [ http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=c26efa36-98e0-4ee9-a7c5-98d0592d8c52&displaylang=en] to aid you sync the two.

Step 5: You can now enjoy these podcasts in your car by hooking your car stereo to the MP3 player using an Auxiliary cable. If your car stereo does not have an Auxiliary input, you may use other means as suggested in this video. Here is one of the dozens of videos which tells you how to do so.
